From its humble beginnings more than 22 years ago as a standalone office to today, the Ray White Aspley Group has forged a path of continuous improvement. Living and breathing a team-wide culture of constantly searching for better ways of doing things, this spirit of curiosity has brought about exponential growth, with the group now operating from four separate Brisbane locations and servicing clients all over Australia.

The founder of the group, Paul Hodkinson, launched with a focus on family values – his own, those of his team members and by extension, the families within the local community. His approach has always been characterised by flexibility, support and an understanding that caring for the people who work in the business ensures clients are cared for equally well.

In choosing back in 1998 to work under the banner of another Australian family business, Ray White, Paul and his team have been an integral part of the real estate network’s rise to market dominance, now Australasia’s largest industry brand operating in eight different countries. With almost 1,000 offices and more than 12,000 members, Ray White provides market-leading back end support and technology and now sells one in eight properties across the country.

In 2016, Ray White Springfield became the third office to open in the Aspley Group. Robert Green and Paul Hodkinson are co-directors of the business, while Phil Broom joined the Springfield office as its principal in early 2020 after an extensive two decade career in the property industry.

Set to become a “super city” over the next decade, Springfield was Australia’s largest master-planned suburb at the time it was first announced back in 2007. The brain child of Maha Sinnathamby, education, health and technology were its original cornerstones and construction began with a rail line and train station to connect the area to existing hubs.

With an affordable median house price in the low to mid $400k bracket, the area is attractive to first home buyers and young families seeking a suburban lifestyle. Around 40% of the area is currently developed and Springfield is now at the heart of one of the country’s fastest growing regions, with great schools and easy access to all amenities. Located 23km from Brisbane City, the CBD is a 40 minute rail journey from Springfield, while the Centenary Highway provides direct car access.
